The sea.

 

Sighing, breathing, rhythmic waves,

sailors and fishermen offer their praise.

Fair wind and calm seas for ships, yachts and boats,

currents and tides convey all afloat.

Creating, curling, tumbling over rocks,

resting peacefully, hugging the docks.

Gathering momentum, following the moon,

reflective and sparkling in the sun's noon.

Quietly languishing, lapping the shore.

cool, clear, inviting, for all to explore.
